<Static> has been a guild of bloodthirsty hooligans since the release of Earth and Beyond in 2002. After EaB, Static has spanned across a broad spectrum of games including but not limited to: World of Warcraft, Rift, Eve: Online, SWG, Everquest 1 & 2, Lineage, SWTOR, Defiance, and Neverwinter. 

While at first glance Static might look like a typical end game raiding guild that doesn't care about anything but dominating the game in all aspects and striving to clear all content, we have also always been very active members in the community of the games we play. We typically always test the games we play, giving helpful feedback and pay special attention to helping the game, players, and the developers succeed. We are primarily a USA time zone guild, however, we do have members from all over the world, and we make every attempt to organize raid or PVP groups based off of who is skilled and capable and fill the gaps by recruiting the right members as needed. 

We enjoy a challenge and if the game becomes too easy, we will explore further options to make the game more interesting. (such as removing gear for raids and PVP, using fewer participants in a raid, or running a race between two groups to see who can complete the raid faster.) 

Static has always shown a commitment to skill and fair play, and we cater to the mature gamer looking to excel while still maintaining a life outside of the game. For that reason we do not use a point system for loot and instead fairly distribute based off of many aspects of game play (skill, attitude, participation in guild events including raids and PVP, overall gear quality, etc). This ensures a healthy even growth to the gear level of our raids. 

Our recruitment status is not always open, but we are always on the look out for a few good players to bolster our ranks (people who stand in fires need not apply).
